Within the context of mushrooms and hallucinations, a pond emerges. But this pond has no frogs. What you hear instead may be a single cry of “Henfu”—the call of the owl, sounding from the seam between day and night, from the deepest resonance of the entire exhibition. The absence of frogs’ croaks becomes a silent reminder: this body of water is not a natural pond, but a spiritual one, carrying visions, memories, and voices that lie beneath the surface.
