Xin Yunpeng consistently engages in playful “rule-breaking” that reconfigures institutional power structures and habitual behaviors. The installation No Problem is inspired by the mechanical “ride-a-bull” games found in amusement parks. Redesigned by the artist, once a participant mounts the bull, the structure immediately collapses, and it only returns to its original state when the rider dismounts—creating an experience of impossible resistance.
