The work consists of half a ping-pong table and a Time cover from 1971. Xin Yunpeng cut the original magazine cover and placed it on the table, replacing the missing section with a photograph of the curator looking out beyond the Great Wall at Badaling, Beijing. Through the interplay of media boundaries, the piece reflects the rupture of geopolitical fantasies.
