Artist SUN Minqi has been appointed as one of the new board members of the Hechingen Kunstverein in Germany. She will be primarily responsible for exhibition curation and association management.
The Kunstverein Hechingen has a history of more than 70 years. It was originally founded in 1951 as the “Künstlergilde Hechingen” (Hechingen Artists’ Guild) and is one of the oldest art associations of its kind in Baden-Württemberg, Germany. Its founding members included Maria Brück, Annemarie Fiebig-Kirnig, Natalie Gräfin von Hatzfeldt, Carl Kronberger, Franz Joseph Prinz von Hohenzollern, Dr. Gustaf Klemens Schmelzeisen, and Hermann Seli.
